What's new: a new email editor, clearer results, and free team seats
Here is what has reached your account over the past few weeks.
EMAIL TEMPLATES
A new email editor. Every new email template now opens in a block editor: drag in text, images, buttons and layout blocks, and edit each one in a side panel. What you build is what arrives in the inbox. Templates you already have still open and stay fully editable.
Headings, links and a ready-made footer. Text blocks support headings and links, and a footer block adds your postal address and an unsubscribe link for you.
Saved blocks. Save a block you like and reuse it. If you archive one by mistake, you can undo it.
Import a design. Bring in an existing email file, or an Illustrator or PDF design, and it is rebuilt as editable blocks.
Write with AI, in place. Ask the assistant to change your draft and it edits the email you have open instead of starting over.
A taller preview with a Mobile and Desktop switch, so you can check both before you send.
Delete a template from the editor. We will stop you if a running campaign still uses it.
Your sending address is now shown in every email composer and can only be changed in one place, Settings, Messaging channels, so a template cannot quietly send from the wrong address. The display name stays editable.
BROADCASTS AND CAMPAIGNS
Picking a template for a broadcast now shows it as a preview, with an Edit template button that takes you to its editor.
A broadcast that cannot send, for example because its message is missing a subject or sender, is now refused before it starts, with the reason, instead of starting and pausing itself.
You can delete a broadcast draft that was never sent.
Sending speed is now set once per channel, under Messaging, rather than on every broadcast. Email broadcasts sent through Caramel's own sending service are paced to protect delivery for everyone.
Pause and resume now work reliably on a live campaign, and editing a campaign by hand no longer leaves it stuck waiting on an AI refinement.
Campaign emails can be edited as code beside a live preview that updates as you type.
While a campaign is being generated you now see which stage it has reached.
From the campaign conversation you can ask the assistant to build an audience, a form or a customer board, and use it in the campaign.
Journeys offer a random split for simple A and B tests, and the journey canvas is easier to move around, with safer step actions.
RESULTS AND AUDIENCES
The Show results for picker lists every campaign and broadcast that has actually sent, and only those.
Campaign results are counted more accurately, and a refresh no longer resets a campaign's counts.
An audience that has not been counted yet now says Calculating instead of showing zero.
Every dropdown is searchable, and when you build an audience, trait values are picked from your real data rather than typed.
FORMS
A chat bubble embed. Put a form on your site as a button in the corner that opens it in a chat-style panel, with an optional prompt to invite visitors.
Form responses can include file attachments.
If you limit which websites may embed a form, your own share links, QR codes and prefilled links keep working.
BILLING AND PLANS
Team members are now unlimited and free on every plan.
You can choose annual billing when you buy a plan in the app.
Billing history shows the real amount of each invoice, and lists refunds.
Your plan's audience refresh limit is shown in the usage card.
Automatic AI credit top-ups now only happen if an owner has switched them on, with the price shown first.
Email and campaign writing now use a stronger AI model, so each of those generations uses more AI credits than before. Other AI features are unchanged.
ALSO FIXED
Saving business settings with a blank email or phone number no longer fails.
Owners who have already paid are no longer asked to pay again during setup.
Emails that already include an unsubscribe link no longer get a second one.
Phone numbers entered without a country code are now read in your business's own country.
Spreadsheet imports handle files with several sheets, and import history is easier to find.
New industry: Entertainment and Media, with twelve sub-industries including streaming, events and sports, each with its own campaign guidance.
